PTSD911 is a groundbreaking documentary that brings together first responders and the public in understanding the mental health struggles of those who serve. A Badge of Honor, in partnership with the City of Garland, is pleased to present the documentary PTSD911. Our first responders sign up to serve and risk their lives and mental health to respond to someone’s worst day.
Since 2019 there have been almost 900 first responder deaths by suicide sadly including the communities of Garland, Rowlett, and Rockwall. PTSD911, produced by Conrad Weaver, is a powerful new documentary film that tells this story from first-hand accounts of first responders themselves.
A Badge of Honor is a nationally recognized non-profit that provides post-traumatic stress awareness and suicide prevention for first responders, veterans, and their family members. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Meet with your local first responders who appear in the film and local mental health providers. Funds generated from ticket sales will be used to provide scholarships to first responders to attend our Wellness & Resiliency Workshops.
